Vineyard for sale

Château Bertrand Braneyre is a unique wine estate in Haut-Médoc, situated between prestige appellations such as Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac (Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Lafite Rothschild…).

Château Bertrand Braneyre has a history that goes back to 1769. In 1993 Ludwig Cooreman acquired Château Vieux Braneyre, now known as Château Bertrand Braneyre after the name of the founder in 1769. Extensive investments in the vineyard — stainless steel tanks, thermoregulation, a second fermentation cellar, etc. – have turned Château Bertrand Braneyre into an established value in the wine world.

Ludwig Cooreman has reached a ripe old age, however, and he has no successors in the family. That is why he now wants to hand over the estate to a man or a woman with a love for wine and wine production. Someone who is keen to continue to run and expand the estate.

The winning assets

100% operational

The company is 100% operational and there are no major direct investments needed in order to bring production to an even higher level.

Existing stock

The existing stock can also be acquired at reduced cost, so that the new owner can capitalize financially on the acquisition the first years.

25 year old vines

The vines have an average age of 25-30 years and are therefore in full production. The young vines will achieve their full potential in 3 to 5 years’ time.

Fully planted

The surface area of the vineyard is fully planted, with the exception of 1 hectare which was uprooted last year. This hectare can be planted again in 2020.
